As I was pestering local Park City businesses asking them if I could hang my @stoke_coach flyers on their community boards and in their windows, I stumbled upon @solfitadventure’s new book “Adventures in Mother Nature’s Gym” in @dollysbookstore. Flipping through, my eyes lit up because I felt so connected to all the ideas and concepts Melanie was writing about. It was as if, as I was reading, I was also writing this profound book.

The concept of the book is that fitness is more than just a gym workout—it’s a way of life! Melanie’s book will ultimately give me more tools to help my clients reclaim that instinctive, wild, necessary part of being human—adventure!

When I found out that Melanie lived in Salt Lake City, I reached out to her to thank her for writing this book and to see if she wanted to grab a coffee. I’m so thankful that we met and I’m inspired by her passion for the outdoors.
