2 years ago - I started a passion project in the health and wellness space. This past year I studied and received my personal training certification through @acefitness to legitimize this wellness business I call Stoke Coach (@stoke_coach). It was put on the back burner for a while when I got hired into a full-time position, but in full transparency, a couple weeks ago, I got laid off from that job. It's a bummer for sure and I really enjoyed my role, but now I know deep down in my soul my true purpose is to help inspire people to be active, fit, get outside more, eat healthier, and challenge their comfort zone as a Stoke Coach and Personal Trainer.

As we sit at our desks and look at our multitude of screens, getting outside, exploring our child like awe and wonder, and creating a life where we move naturally during our days is more important than ever (DYK - 100 years ago only 10% of us had sedentary jobs, whereas today we’re at 90 %). I want to help erase the barrier of entry into the outdoors, and help people climb their own personal peak - whether that's making time to be active and outdoors every day, try hiking for the first time, facilitating adventures into the mountains or on the water.
