Boating on Lake Travis // Austin

Headed out on a little trip to Austin, Texas a week ago for my friend Lisa’s Bachelorette Party. I’ve been looking forward to checking out this awesome aka weird college music party town for a long time now so I was super excited to be traveling there to see what all the hoopla has been about. I was  literally only in Austin for a day and a half and spent most of my time on a lake (not complaining) but I felt the good vibes and I wanted to see more. I need to get back to Austin sooner than later, so that I can actually cross it off my bucket list, and really explore what keeps Austin weird.

Love this view of San Francisco - you can see Ocean Beach, the Bay Bridge, and the Golden Gate!

I am not sure where I am but It’s amazing what you see from the air and how a change of perspective brings out the different patterns in our landscape.

Our Captain apparently had some bikini photo shoot experience.

Next time I am in town I will be eating here!

I love what I saw of Austin - and I must come back again to experience it all for a longer period of time!

Oh and FYI if you plan on heading to Austin - heed this warning that their taxi situation is awful! We waited for like hours for taxis - so I would suggest stay close to downtown and use these open air taxis to transport you around Rainey Street
